About the Artist

I am a multimedia artist currently based out of Somerville, MA. I earned my BFA in Photography/Computer Digital Imagery with a minor in Graphic Design from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV in 2009 and am currently pursuing my MFA in Media Arts from Emerson College in Boston, MA.

My work explores the development of spaces (both physical and mental) and facilitates acts of discovery within them. Always fascinated with the endless potential of a moment, I attempt to isolate impressions of individual space and rebuild them into a revised, coherent whole. My work is made possible by/is the direct result of constant exploration of my surroundings and adaptation to new approaches and technologies as I learn them.

The West Virginia Storytelling Project is my MFA thesis project at Emerson and is a project I hope to add to over the years, exploring traditional music and other art forms as forms of storytelling in their own right.
